The white outline around the character makes him stick out a bit, though, like he was cut out from a different drawing and pasted there. Was this a deliberate decision on your part?
And I was trying to mimic how sunlight will give a semi halo effect around a figure if it's behind them, since the sunlight is reaching into the canyon and all. It's not actually white as it is the lightest color found in the image, I mainly reused the colors from the background for the gunslinger/outlaw herself, so she'd fit better into the image. [I am weird like that.]
