Just sharing an assignment I had to do for college... cuz I like how it came out. haha!
Basically what we had to o was go image hunting for a landscape, and recreate it in painter. [aka use the image as a reference point and redraw/paint everything freehand.] We also had to use the dropper tool to get the colors so they'd be a good match instead of us guesstimating everything. Hurr~.
Overall i think it came out pretty well~ yeah it's not perfect... but I never did a real landscape before so it was a fun challenge. Plus we're not being critiqued on our artistic ability for this assignment... just on how well we portrayed the three keywords we selected that the piece conveys. [I chose subtle, quiet, and calm.]
Done 100% in painter X and IX respectfully... I still prefer IX... X lags way too much. Hahahahaha!
